Brilliant African Americans. Why not a main charactor? Why can't all those detective shows have an Asian detective? Why are there no Asian actors in soaps? Why are there no talk show host with Asians?

Why Asian’s actor/actress get plastic surgery done and promoting cosmetic surgery to the public? Is it bad to have cosmetic? I mean most people in in the world had or have cosmetic surgery done to their face, such as double eyelids, breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and etc. I just don’t understand why people want to get plastic surgery to be “beautiful.” I don’t know why my Asian friends want to get double eyelids surgery done, because they think having bigger eyes is consider beautiful. I myself am Asian, and I don’t want to get plastic surgery, because I personally like almond eyes, they’re beautiful; it makes them look mysterious and sophisticate. Anyway, cosmetic surgeries are widely popular in Korea, Japan, and China. I don’t know what they are trying to change their looks to appear more westernize, which I think promoting the public to get plastic surgery. I mean, why get plastic surgery to make you look “beautiful, when you’re already beautiful? Also, getting plastic surgery done with double eyelids, rhinoplasty will not make your future kids have the double eyes, and a narrow nose. Also having braces, does that mean I have cosmetic surgery done to my teeth? I hope not.

I know that there are still other pretty actresses from each country but I love the show/movie these 5 had appeared on so I picked them.
Why are there so few Asian actresses? You have your share of white, black, even latina and even Indian/Middle Eastern actresses, but hardly any Asian. Why is this? Asian girls are just as beautiful, talented, charisnatic, and capable as any other types of girls.

Popular Asian Actresses in the U.S? what are some popular asian actresses in the u.s. currently and could be considered celebrities, or asian actresses of the 1920's, 30's, 40's, and 50's?
Is it weird that theres any lead asian actresses in movies or books ? Well im speaking probly in behalf all asian americans from the states, and heres the point Why arent there any lead asian teen actresses any where ? well have all course the hilary's miley cyrus and lindsey lohan's is there a similarity between all of them ? they all white! not thats there nothing wrong with that but i need we a enlightment! ISnt america all about diversity ? a mix of races cultures and why is the media aiming twards soo many white actors and celebs ? YEs theres lucy lui but shes already about 40 and dont get me wrong i love her but i saying YOUNG ppls -brenda song- do you see her in any lead roles on the big tv screen ? well what your opinions everybody ps: there are more asians that break the cliche that theyre all nerds who are total book worms
Why is it so hard to find Asian leading men in movies, tv episodes, etc.? Yet everywhere you look there are female Asian stars/actresses. Yep, I have seen Jackie Chan in more Kung Fu flicks than I an count. But my Asian friends don't know anything about Kung fu. So why not show Asians the way they really are? As for Chow Yun Fat, he has already commented on how racist Hollywood is. In Asia, he was cast as a strong leading man in many films. In Hollywood, he is given stereotypical roles. But don't forget about Russell Wong, Jason Scott Lee, and a bunch of other Asian actors. They have all commented on their lack of employment opportunities.
What is the American/Western standard of pretty asian girls? In Asia, girls with big round eyes(like westerners), sharp nose, oval face(not too round) are considered to be pretty. Asian people don't like high cheekbones or square jaws. Ex) Ziyi Zhang in Memoirs of Geisha is considered to be pretty in Asia because she has big eyes and an oval-shaped face. But I think some Westerners like asians with high cheekbones and small eyes(non-round eyes with no double eyelids) like Mulan and Lucy Liu. But many Asian people don't think they are pretty. So what is the Western standard of pretty asians? Here are pictures of popular asian actresses that Asian people think are pretty. Do you think they are prettier than Lucy Liu or Mulan? http://tvzonebbs6.media.daum.net/griffin/do/talk/gallery/kimtaehee/read?bbsId=S000002&articleId=3072&pageIndex=32&searchKey=&searchValue= http://tvzonebbs4.media.daum.net/griffin/do/star_photo/read?bbsId=A000010&articleId=142458&pageIndex=2&searchKey=&searchValue
Is the actress Sandra Oh a lesbian? I am having a family debate...is the actress Sandra Oh (she's the Asian actress in the movie Sideways and Under the Tuscan Sun) a lesbian? Yes or No?
How do people view Asian women/girls? Can they be gorgeous? &how so? Would it be weird if an Asian became vocalist in a band? Do you think that band could succeed as far as, for example, Paramore? Considering the band were trying to succeed in America of course and perhaps to go international as well. As an actress? I ask this because I hardly ever see Asian women or men for that matter much in the media and etc etc. Please give me your honest opinion.
Is it worth it to try and become an actor/actress? It seems so fun, I mean, look at Narnia. I love it and I would kill to star in a movie like that. But the thing is-- I'm asian, I have no interest in being an chinese actress. It'll probably be impossible for me, a chinese girl (I don't have an accent) to star in an "english" movie. Also, it seems like it's not going to be possible because well, I don't have experience, agent, or anything. It's just a dream.
asian actresses? do yo think their chances of getting roles is limited because there arent roles specifically created for them or because of their english? i love acting. i was born in australia so i have an aussie accent and dont sound chinese at all. does this give me an edge over others? i would love to be in hollywood one day, my passion for acting grows each day after i watched the inspiring orlando bloom and i know my acting isnt terrible, but it could be brushed up a bit! but being asian, i fear my chances are limited and i would only be wasting years of my life becoming a failure rather than get a proper, guaranteed career
Who are some pretty Asian actresses/singers? Please don't say Utada Hikaru. -.-' xD Okay, she needs to be pretty. And a teen [or early 20's]. And easy to find and download things on [preferably not music videos]; like drama's and stuff. Please help! [Remember: SHE HAS TO BE ASIAN.]
Is there any non-asian black female singers or actresses in Japan? I was just wonder since I have heard of a non-asian singer in Japan, but she was white and she was raise there since she was 7. I already know of Jero, but his grandma was Japanese. I was just wondering if a black girl whom has no asian origin can actually become a singer or actress in Japan. Since all of the non-asian actors/actresses I heard of were only white people and black men. I have never heard of a black girl whom is a singer or actress in Japan. I was just wondering why there wasn't any. Maybe no black girl else tried to be a singer or actress in Japan I don't know I am just curious about why I haven't heard of any there. I'm saying non-asian black female since most of the time when you just say black female, people put Crystal Kay in there, but she isn't black all the way she is Korean & African American. I'm just talking about black girls whom has no asian in her at all.

Asian-looking female doctor and black male doctor? What's the name of the TV show where these characters appear on? The reason I'm asking is that I saw it a few nights ago, but don't know the name of the show. Also, another actress who plays a female doctor on there seemed familiar to me, but I don't know her name. She was comforting this girl that was pregnant and perhaps hinting that it would be better for her and the baby in the long run. Is it CSI, ER? What is the asian actress's name? Can anyone help me out? Thank you, moma! You were right the first time, "Grey's Anatomy" is the one I was looking for. And, the actress that seemed familiar to me was Katherine Heigl, 'cause I used to be a huge Roswell fan, lol! Oh, and moma, expect your 10 "Best Answer" points in a little while!
Could being Asian hold me back in the future? First off, let me inform you guys that I am not at all ashamed of the fact that I am Asian. And I'm certainly not claiming that anyone is being racist. OK, well, one day I hope to become an actress. There aren't many Asian actresses in America. Lucy Liu is a big one, but she's not in as many movies as the American actresses. It could be because of her potential, or lack of, if you'd like. Personally, I think she's great. So could I not have many roles because my look isn't right? Confused? Eh. Eur J, you are a pathetic excuse of an Asian man. No, I take that back -- you are a pathetic excuse of a human being. I hope this doesn't sound mean; go fall on a knife.
